Able, ready: Aquarium festival spotlights can-do resolve

During the Festival of Human Abilities at the Aquarium of the Pacific, people with disabilities aren’t treated as less than those without.

“I think at first people do expect less. You think of a disability as taking something away,” said Katie Estrella, an 18-year-old Cal State Fullerton student. “That’s what I thought first when I got injured.”
