Aquarium, NOAA probing rash of seal deaths

While reports of dead seals along the New England coastline are worrying experts and concerned animal lovers, Cape Ann has been largely spared from the deluge of mammals that have been found to the North and South.

The investigation into the dead harbor seals is still in the early stages, but, according to Tony Lacasse, spokesman for the New England Aquarium, which is heading the investigation, human involvement has been ruled out.
