NE Aquarium workers attempt to save dolphin

WINTHROP, Mass. — Workers from the New England Aquarium and several people from a yacht club in Winthrop came together Sunday to save a dolphin caught in a harbor off Pleasant Street in Winthrop.

The scene was an unusual one. Dolphins don’t generally swim so close to the city — near homes, in a shallow harbor, where boats and docks gather.  

“I was sitting here drinking my coffee and I heard like a water splash,” said Cheryl Moschitto. “I was like ‘no way, what is that?’ Couldn’t be a dolphin.”
